The Cortijo

astefully furnished throughout with a view to comfort, minimal without being a slave to modernism, Bujio combines elements of the Moorish, the old and the new in an eclectic style sympathetic with the rustic character of the Cortijo.

In creating this environment every effort has been made to reuse existing materials. Internally, the cortijo blends elements of both Moorish and Andalucía decorative traditions. White wash walls, traditional exposed beams and flag stone floors combine perfectly with the rural beauty of the properties surroundings. Natural fibre rugs and Egyptian cotton bed linen are used throughout in bedrooms furnished with four poster beds antiques and original commissioned paintings, while en-suite bathrooms are provided with the finest neals yard organic products, pure cotton towels, bathrobes and slippers. Each bedroom has its own very distinct character with spectacular views onto the surrounding mountainous landscape, the private gardens or terraces make them ideal for intimate candle lit dinners. These are just some of the features visitors will find in this uniquely restored and extended cortijo which can accommodate from 1 to 12 guests throughout the year (inclusive of 6 adults, 4 children and 2 babies in cots).
